Taking a break from busy things in life to reflect on how good God is to each and everyone of us!! His grace and love are evident when you pause to see. I am thankful when intentional meanings become evident when reading scripture and inspirational writings. God truly has a plan for us in this life. A plan to learn and a plan to share what we've learned. God loves me! God loves you!
It's a beautiful sunny day out and even though I set aside my work projects for the Sabbath I still have some knit ufo's laying around calling my name. Its delightful to sit and enjoy a knit that is for me or being made to gift. No time limits just me and my yarn :) I really believe God knew what He was doing when He created the Sabbath for us. He knew we would work too much and not take care of ourselves. To me Sabbath is a healing day between me and Him; and with my family. A chance to practice letting go...which I think He wants us to do daily anyway! All good!
I'm working on a long sweater vest. Something to cover up on the cooler summer/fall days. Knitting with Fishermans Wool in a earthy cream color. Love the feel of wool. Mindless knitting lets my heart roam free (Kimberly Watts).
