While watching one of those "men of the wild" shows where single people, older couples, and even younger families strive to live off the grid in the far reaches of the the country. One stated the obvious truth. He said in so many words that what they do 'to survive' is what so many others don't ever want to have to do...ever. We do some of that now but still are caught in that suburbanian problematic situational lifestyle. Stuck in the cycle. So many things complicate this cycle keeping us stuck here. Responsibilities, connections, promises...people.
So it's not as bad as I'm making it sound. But it is still sounding pretty dreary and possibly radical to most lol. I have a point. No I can't drop everything and run to that wonderfully deserted point off the map and live life off the grid because I have life responsibilities but I can make as much of my life self-sufficient and domestic as possible. And keeping close to my creative self will keep this real.
Sooo...that's it. There are two dramatic lifestyles here...I will live neither but will strive to be closest to the one that makes me feel real!
