Thinking its fall :)

"Mist-ful Setting"

I hear everyone saying fall arrived overnight and am leaning to agree!  From all our heat and humidity here in Salem and now to jump right into wearing sweaters and legging!! I'm all for it!

My son is safely off to college.  Yes I do believe it is physically impossible for a mother not to experience a few tears upon leaving her child at a far away location.  This mother did... though I was able to hide it till driving away.  I am so proud of him though!  He has a kind heart and eager soul.  So excited to see him claiming his adventures in the next few months and years.

I am also thankful my daughter is closer to home that I can hug her more often than not.  They are my kids forever and always and my heart strings are pulled nearly daily because of them.  Learning to leave it with God more day.  So much a mother can't do even when the world says "we can do everything and everything at once!"  Haha...not so much.  I have to give it to God or I will fall apart more than I already do. Another grateful thought!  Truly blessed.

Working on more yarn baskets.  Not sure if you've tried the pattern I shared last time.  With so many ideas in my mind I do believe these baskets will warm up our holidays! as center pieces, gift carriers, toy holders and treat rationers.  Oh please share pics of your yarn baskets & what you make them for under #create2finds on instagram.  Can't wait to see the love.

This will be a short one today.  I'm nursing a headache for the second day in a row and aches from the temperature change.  I need to be nestled in a cozy blanket with tea and yarn in front of the wood stove.  Laundry and dishes will always wait of me...I cannot disappoint them lol.

Lets enjoy Autumn as she introduces herself more readily over these days and weeks.  Pick your favorite moments and expand on them.

Till our next chat or my inspiring desire to share...be reminded that you are AWESOME!!  God loves YOU!  And if you ever wonder why in the world I would write that here....ask me :)  I can't help but say it out loud!  You are uniquely and wonderfully made in the image of God.

Your friend...Kimberly.
